WELCOME!!
Hello guys, In this tutorial, I will explain to you how you can install Windows Vista on your android using the Limbo PC Emulator app.
So, Let's get started!!!
Ok, first of all, you have to know what is Limbo PC Emulator app is?
So, the Limbo pc emulator app is a port of QEMU and supports emulation of the following architecture-- which isx86/x86_64 ARM/ARM64 PowerPC/PowerPC64 Sparc. It is capable to smoothly run small Operating Systems like Windows98, Windows 95, some lightweight Linux Distros, etc. However, this app is capable to run a heavy OS like Windows 7, Windows Vista, some heavy Linux distros but it depends on the device you use. If your device has a powerful chipset, it runs the OS very smoothly, but if you haven't that powerful android device, it might struggle to run that heavy OS.
Here is the download link of the Limbo PC Emulator app -- HERE
For this tutorial, I have used the lite version of the Windows Vista operating system. you can download the QCOW2 file as well as the ISO file from the links given below.
MEDIAFIRE Link (The file is highly compressed) ---------
Download the QCOW2 File in highly compressed form from --HERE
*** Most important is you have to know your device chipset architecture ( like x86, x64arm, etc). You can simply check it by yourself using hundred of apps available on the google play store. One of them I prefer is the CPU-Z app. You can download the app from -- HERE
Ok, now I assume that you have downloaded all the required files from the above links and knows about your device architecture, and installed the Limbo Pc Emulator app according to your device chipset.
Now,
Step-1
Open the Limbo Pc Emulator app on your android
Step-2
You have to create a virtual machine on the limbo app. For that tap on the "None" option available on the right side of the "Load Machine" text.
Then a drop-down menu opens. From there tap on the "New" option. Then type the name of your virtual machine. After that tap on the "create" button and that's it, You have successfully created a virtual machine on your limbo app.
TAP ON THE NEW BUTTON
WRITE THE NAME OF YOUR VM AND THEN TAP ON THE CREATE BUTTON
Step- 3
Leave the "User Interface" section as it is.
Step-4
Now, tap on the "Cpu/Board" section. In this section, you will find options like Architecture, Cpu model,Machine type, etc.
So, select Architecture -- x86,
Machine type -- pc,
Cpu Model -- n270,
Cpu core -- Between 2 to 4. ( I used 4 cores on the video)
Ram -- According to your device ( I have selected 1152 MB of Ram)
Step-5
Untick the "Disable TSC" option otherwise, the VM might not boot properly in the end. (*when you select more than one CPU core it will automatically tick the " disable TSC" option)
Step-6
Now tap on the Disk section. Here you have to select the Vista QCOW2/ Vista Virtual hard disk file. After opening the disk section, tick the Hard Disk A and then tap on the none button which is available on the right side of the Hard Disk A option. After taping the none option a dropdown window appears. Now tap on the Open option to select the QCOW2 file. When you tap the open option you will be redirected to the file manager of your phone. Here you have to go to the location where you placed the QCOW2 file and then tap on the file.
****Don't place the file on the DOWNLOAD folder of your phone, otherwise, you might not be able to select or open the file in the Limbo app.
Step-7
Now tap on the Boot section and then select--- Boot from Device - Hard Disk
Step-8
Now tap on the Sound section and then select -- Sound Card -- all
Step-9
Now tap on the Network section and select --
Network -- user
